The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s primary responsibility is enforcing state traffic laws. In remote areas with limited local law enforcement, troopers also answer calls for service, serve warrants, patrol Ohio’s territories, conduct investigations, and assist agencies such as ODNR and local police departments. Traffic patrol and crash investigation in rural, unincorporated areas remain the department’s priority.

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources protects Ohio’s parks, forests, waterways, wildlife, and natural areas. ODNR personnel patrol remote areas, enforce conservation and boating laws, investigate incidents, assist stranded visitors, and coordinate search, rescue, and emergency responses with other public-safety agencies.

The Columbus Police Department protects everyone who lives, works, and visits the city. Officers enforce laws, investigate crimes, apprehend offenders, manage traffic and collisions, respond to calls for service, and preserve public order during major events and critical incidents. Specialized units—including SWAT, K-9, narcotics, and gang enforcement—support a professional, accountable department focused on public trust and community safety.

The Dublin Police Department provides around-the-clock public safety through proactive patrol, traffic enforcement, criminal investigations, emergency response, and community partnerships. Officers protect residents, businesses, and visitors while supporting major events and working closely with neighboring agencies.

The Grove City Police Department serves the community through patrol operations, traffic safety, criminal investigations, emergency response, and public outreach. Members work to prevent crime, respond to calls for service, manage critical incidents, and build trust through professional, community-focused policing.

Civilians bring OFRP’s world to life. Build businesses, create relationships, host community events, interact with first responders, or simply tell the story of a unique character’s daily life. Civilian Operations gives creative players the freedom to add depth, realism, and memorable storylines to every session.

Columbus 911 Communications connects callers with police, fire, and medical responders. Dispatchers gather essential information, create and update CAD calls, assign available units, manage radio traffic, monitor responder status, and coordinate resources throughout active incidents. In OFRP, dispatchers keep scenes organized and every responding department informed.

The Columbus Division of Fire provides a safe, professional, and courteous team that strives to exceed the expectations of the community and the organization. Its members form a capable, aggressive, all-risk department dedicated to preserving the past and protecting the future of those they serve.

OhioHealth Protective Services helps keep hospitals and care sites safe for patients, visitors, and staff. Officers patrol medical facilities, manage access and security concerns, de-escalate conflicts, respond to emergencies, protect sensitive areas, and coordinate with police, fire, EMS, and hospital teams during active incidents.

The Ohio Department of Transportation keeps Ohio moving through roadway maintenance, traffic control, roadside assistance, construction-zone support, vehicle recovery, and severe-weather response. ODOT personnel coordinate with law enforcement, fire, and other agencies to keep roads safe while creating realistic transportation-focused roleplay across the state.
